This pet friendly vacation rental is located in a picturesque rural setting on a private wooded acre complete with butterfly gardens. You'll find plenty of trails to hike with your dog including beautiful Brown County State Park. NOTE: All pets must be pre-approved by the Schoolhouse Inn. Pet fee is $75 with a 2 dog limit.

After a long day of biking or hiking, the newly renovated bath features a large walk-in tiled shower and a new custom build cabinet with loads of counter space. With the on-demand water heater, you can enjoy that hot, soothing shower for as long as you like! The large private deck features a four-person hot tub, patio table and a gas grill and firepit for your continued outdoor enjoyment. From the deck, you will enjoy wooded views all year round as each season offers a unique panorama. As bedtime approaches, up the loft-style staircase, you will find the first of two cozy bedrooms with queen-size pillow-top beds.

Nashville, Indiana is a historic and thriving artists colony where artists have been coming to paint the picturesque scenery — the mystical hills and hollers of Brown County, Indiana — since the early 19th century.

The quaint village of Nashville has hundreds of unique craft, specialty and antique shops as well as restaurants, wineries, craft beer breweries, music and theatre venues. Visitors can enjoy watching artists in galleries and craft studios throughout the back roads of Brown County, Indiana.

Nashville is also home to the the Brown County Music Center — a 2000 seat live performance venue. This indoor entertainment venue is host to world-class rock, blues, country, pop, jazz, oldies, throwback artists, and more.

You'll want to visit Hard Truth Hills. The 325 acre property features a Tasting Room and Big Woods Restaurant. Exploring the Brown County State Park where visitors come to hike, bike, swim and trailride is not to be missed.
